Riona Bane

I am originally from the sprawling metropolis of Belturbet, Co. Cavan which boasts a population of almost 1500 people. At 17 I packed up and moved to Dublin and almost immiately started working as a Clerical Officer in the Civil Service. I left the Civil Service in 2018 to persue a career as a Legal Secretary which I immediately loved and did not regret my decision.

I also did a 2.5 year stint living in Brazil where I taught English in a private school in the city of Vila Velha, Espirito Santo. It certainly was an experience to give the children of Brazil the gift of a Cavan accent. I am also somewhat fluent in Portuguese as a result and enjoy speaking it but I would love to practice more so I don’t lose it.

My two main passions are music and travelling. I’m a rock n roller at heart and have kept every concert ticket stub since I was a teenager. My favourite place I’ve travelled to is Japan and I really want to go back some day.

I am excited to join the team at Parker Law and start my new adventure with them.
