Parker Law has been named as a finalist for the 10th annual Waterford Business Awards organised by Waterford Chamber with Dungarvan and West Waterford Chamber.

Parker Law was shortlisted in the Exceptional Customer Experience category and the gala awards ceremony will take place in the Tower Hotel on Friday, November 17.

ParkerLaw Bursary awarded to Emily Lundy

The ParkerLaw Bursary 2023 has been awarded to Emily Lundy, a final year Bachelor of Laws’ student in SETU (Waterford). Suzanne Parker, Principal Solicitor at ParkerLaw made the presentation in SETU Waterford last week. Suzanne expressed her delight in continuing the ParkerLaw Bursary for 2023 and congratulated Emily on being a worthy recipient of the award.

Dr. Michael Bergin, Head of the Department of Law and Criminal Justice at SETU Waterford, also offered his congratulations to Emily on being the recipient of this prestigious bursary for 2023. He noted that not only had Emily outstanding academic results, but she was also a very committed undergraduate ambassador for the Department and an officer of the Student Law Society.

In expressing the Department’s gratitude to ParkerLaw he stated “in addition to this generous bursary, ParkerLaw has offered a remunerated internship to a second-year law student this Summer and is also participating in the Criminal Justice Degree placement programme. We recognise and acknowledge the commitment involved in offering these opportunities to our undergraduates and are very grateful to Suzanne and the team at ParkerLaw.”

Parker Law celebrates International Woman’s Day

We had a busy day for International Women’s Day in Parker Law. Our principal Suzanne Parker was a guest on Damien Tiernan’s radio programme on WLR fm. We was joined by Dr Jennifer O Mahoney, lecturer in SETU and Kamila Bystrzonowska who owns and runs Momo restaurant in the city.

During the day Suzanne was also a guest at Waterford Chamber networking breakfast sponsored by Waterford News and Star. The final event of the day attended by Suzanne and Aisling from Parker Law was the Network Ireland Waterford Branch lunch at Faithlegg Hotel with special guest Niamh Briggs.
